Who We Are
ThirdGen Amusement was founded in 2006 by John Ries. John is a third-generation coin-op expert. His family owns KD Game Room Supply in Ames, Iowa. That business was founded in 1959 and prior to that his family had a coin-op business in another part of Iowa that is still around today — Ries Amusement. He learned at an early age all about ATMs and coin-op equipment. He applied what he knew to his own business and has a passion for the coin-op industry with a special interest in slot machines. He has been operating ATMs in and around Kansas City for over a decade. He is also an all around great guy who is willing to go the extra mile for his customers.
